Hello dear hosts,
I'm Anne (23) and just finished my Geography Bachelor study and want to travel now and make some Workaway experiences.
I am a optimistic and good mooded person who is always up for fun and adventurous activities. I can adapt to new places very easily and always try to make the best out every situation. Depending on the mood of the day I sometimes radiate calmness and sometimes bright energy. I like to be with people, go hiking, be creative, play cards, recently startet climbing and looove to eat. Food is I think my hobby number one :) I eat vegetarian and try to go more and more vegan. My motivation for this is the animal welfare and the environmental aspects. In general, environmental awareness is important to me, because in our world we simply can not afford otherwise. When dealing with other people I think it should be a standard to try to include everyone, that everyone can feel comfortable, that everyone is listened to and that there is a repsectful way of dealing.
I also believe that it is very important to get out of the comfort zone every now and then and meet new people. It always gives me new fresh motivation and new perspectives. I am now excited to do exactly that in your place and get to know new persons better, while working, living and sharing new the Workaway experiences together.
I would love to get out of the city and into nature, and get back to myself a bit more and have less distractions. To me, being in a small place for a few weeks, working and feeling nature sounds perfect. I haven't participated in Workaway yet, but I have had similar experiences in Australia, like on an apple farm. I am ready to learn new things and lend a hand.

so far, i only have experience of apple picking on a farm, which meant being on the plantation all day on both hot days and cold rainy days.
I have also done some woodwork (bench, table, shelves) but I can say that I am not a professional, but I enjoy it. I also like smaller DIY things, such as making Jewlerie and crochet. Overall, I like work like making a place nice and cozy. I am also open and interested to do gardening, renovating and other physically demanding work.
