Hello! This is my first year on Workaway, but I have already had some truly amazing experiences and met so many wonderful people :) Everyone seems so open-hearted and generous in sharing their time and knowledge, and I always try to reciprocate and give back as much as I can!
I am definitely a 'slow traveller' as I like to spend several months in any country I visit, soaking up the local culture and exploring as much as possible. I am a firm believer in collecting experiences rather than things, and although I'm quiet by nature, I know that a smile and genuine kindness goes a long way.

I have extensive experience in tourism, having worked several seasonal jobs in various countries. This includes working as a hotel receptionist in Edinburgh, UK, and as a tour guide at Hobbiton, New Zealand. I am physically fit and hard working, with experience in housekeeping, customer service and hospitality. I speak English as a first language, with TEFL qualifications, and have a BSc degree in Psychology.

I enjoy spending time with animals, having always lived with cats and dogs, and volunteered at a cat sanctuary in the UK.
I love reading books and will read literally anything that crosses my path- recommendations always welcome!
