Description
Hello,
I'm a 22 yo med school student from Prague interested in travelling and meeting people I can learn something from and help them.
In 2022, after my first year of medicine I decided to leave Prague for at least a month because I was so sick of just sitting at home and studying. I went to a Christian community in England as a volunteer. It was my first time travelling alone somewhere and one of the best experiences of my life. From that point in my life I decided I wanted to travel with the purpose of meeting new people because I learned so much just from that experience alone. The next year I went to the World Youth Days (a catholic event that took place in Lisbon in 2023) as a volunteer and I met many new friends from all around the world (mainly Latin America, for that reason I started learning Spanish). I could see my time in Lisbon also made me a better person and gave me so much joy in life. Travelling has become something more than just exploration of a new place or tourism but also a discovery of who I am through the people I cross path with. I'm a quite shy person and it has been hard for me to put myself out there and coming out of my shell. With that being said I'm trying to grow more confident each time I travel somewhere by myself.Interests

More details about your skills
I'm a pretty hands-on girl who isn't afraid to learn new things. When I do something, I like a system in it (but I'm not a pedant).
At the beginning I am a little shy, but after getting to know each other I am pretty easy-going. I really like meeting new people and possibly becoming their friend.
I'm somewhere between an introvert and extrovert. I don't mind doing tasks alone, but I like to socialize too and doing tasks while being a part of a group or a community is very pleasing to me.
I have some experience with children (I was a counselor at a children's camp for 12-15 yo children, I enjoy it every year that I go.
I am patient and conscientious in the jobs that I'm given. I did cleaning as a part-time job in a community center. I like to cook, but due to my school I didn't have enough time to develop this hobby.
I can take care of smaller pets (I have cats at home). But I'm also interested in taking care of less usual domestic animals. I also enjoy gardening (planting, weeding out the garden) as I do it with my parents at home, but I wouldn't say I'm a professional.
I speak good English (fluent), a little German, and I am currently learning Spanish.
I played piano for many years, I wouldn't consider myself good at it but I do play with my friends from elementary school sometimes at little
concerts.Age

What else ...
I'm introverted but enjoy spending time with people after getting to know them a bit better.
I am a fan of board games - Scrabble, to give an example. Despite being a social person, I like to spend some time alone with a book every now and then to recharge. I listen to music of all kinds and sometimes I enjoy a little dancing even though I'm no professional.
I enjoy hiking. When I'm in the city, I like to explore local culture and places to hang out. Some more information

despite doing this a bit last minute, I was really pleased with my three week stay with Juan. I was living with him in his cozy house and my job was to clean it everyday and then usually some work outside (like painting or weeding). We also planted trees once. It was my first workaway experience so I didn't know what to expect. I found Juan… read more
