Description
Hi! We are Anja (37) and Lars (38) from Northern Germany. Since July 2024 we are traveling with our friendly dog Lulu through Europe. We quit our jobs and our flat to take at least a year of a break, to sort out what we want for ourselves in the future, to develop our relationship even further and to live less materialistic.
As we are very calm persons who love the quiet, nature and even loneliness.
We’d joined the workaway community for getting to know new people and learn more about the countries we are exploring.
We are interested in gardening, building and living remote and/or off grid.
By now we have been in Norway and Sweden and at the moment we travel through Poland (for the second time actually)!Interests

More details about your skills
Lars is great with handy work of all kinds and actually thinks about becoming a woodworker in the future. He worked as a light technician for events and also has a lot of organizational skills and basic knowledge on gardening.
Anja loves to organize and tidy things, from paperwork to forgotten drawers or an old garage. She also loves to sell old stuff (at a flea market or online). She likes doing laundry and washing the dishes, trimming hedges, knotting bracelets, doing small drawings (without talent). She worked in the cultural sector with a focus on theatre and maybe wants to become an art therapist one day.
We both speak English (annd German obviously) and Anja could imagine to share her knowledge of the languages.Age

What else ...
We absolutely love to go hiking, put up our tent somewhere on a lonely mountain or in a beautiful forest. Anja jumps into every lake she can find. She also likes board games of all kind and we both enjoy a shared glass of wine. We are into “keeping our hands busy”, listening to podcasts, reading, relaxing in the sun, decorating stuff, hearing the stories of others and eat nice food.

We are vegetarian. Lars sometimes eats fish. But we are not on a converting mission and do not mind to have people eating meat around us. :)
