Hi, my name is Anika, nice to meet you. I'm 20 years old and currently living near Düsseldorf, Germany.

I would describe myself as an adventurous girl, that uses every opportunity to travel.
I did an Interrail through southern Europe, a workaway in Norway and smaller short trips to London over the last 2 years.
I have never travelled outside of Europe and that is definitely something I want to change in the next year. I want to see the world and get to know other cultures and people and grow from that.
I love dancing, going to concerts, reading, exploring nature and traveling.


CHILDREN/ TEACHING
I really enjoy working with children. Over the last years I used to babysit between 6 and 12 years. I did a one year volunteer service on a youth farm in Germany. Children between the ages of 6 and 18 who do not have the opportunity to keep animals at home or who grow up in less than ideal conditions can also spend afternoons there. My tasks in the afternoon with the children included instructing them and teaching them things about the animals and how to look after them. (I also have a reference from this voluntary service that I could send)
I just finished my studies in ballet pedagogy. I also work at a ballet school, where I teach ballet to children, starting from age 3.

ANIMALS/ FARM
I grew up with animals. I also had rabbits and started horse riding when I was 6 years old. Through my federal volunteer service last year, I was able to learn a lot about animal care, for which I am very grateful. I worked with horses, goats, sheep, rabbits and donkeys. I really enjoyed beeing around animals the whole day. Biggest part of the work was cleaning the stables and taking care of the health and proper care of the animals but also training the horses and donkeys for example.
Even if I don't know everything right away, I'm always interested in new things and try to understand and learn everything quickly.

HORSERIDING
I got my first riding lesson when I was 3 years old. I can't remember but I remember my mother finally let me take riding lessons when I was 6 years. 10 years later, when I was 16, I got a Pony. He was 5 at that moment, he is 8 now. He is a german riding pony and you can the him in one of my pictures. I can send you pictures/videos of me riding if you want.
