This is Anika from Germany calling...an outdoor-loving girl who loves to travel and cannot wait for beautiful workaway experiences!

My name is Anika and I'm 25 years old. I was born and raised in Eastern Germany in a rural area near the Czech border. I grew up with two sisters - my twin sister Emily and my older sister Sarah. Growing up in the countryside made me enjoy spending time outdoors.

I'm an open-minded person who is always open for new adventures and encounters in life. I would describe my-self as a person that is grounded and grateful for the little things in life. I grow with challenges and new tasks.
During my long-term stays in Ireland (Au-Pairing) and Finland (Studies) I have developed a strong personality with a great sense of independence, readiness to help and gratitude.

I successfully graduated from university and received my bachelor degree in International Business in summer 2024. Before I apply for a full-time job in the future I want to travel the world. I am sure that workaway can grant me unforgettable encounters with inspiring people, unique experiences and the opportunity to see the beauty of nature that our world offers.

I never hesitate to help people with different jobs - whether it is childcare, crafts activites, gardening, cleaning or creative activities. Getting my hands dirty is for sure no problem for me! By becoming a workawayer I would love to combine my skills and helpfulness with my passion to travel and explore the world. I enjoy to meet people from all around the globe to hear their stories and share unique experiences with them.

Besides traveling I love to cook and bake - you can be sure that there will always be a delicious cake around ;) I also enjoy to go for a run or cycle.

I can help out with various jobs inside and outside the house. Since I was able to help in the house, my parents taught me to help with jobs as tidying and cleaning. When I was 16 I often supported my parents during their house building. Whether it was painting walls, helping with drywall constructions or sorts of carpentry...
I also got to help with garden or outdoor projects during my work experience as an Au-Pair in Ireland.
Apart from crafts actvities, I also enjoy sorting and organizing different kinds of things as well as decorating rooms.

- I'm tiny but mighty (with my 150cm ;))
- I've got a good sense of humour, so always down for a joke!
- I love to watch football games with my dad and sisters.
- I'ver never been outside Europe yet, so can't wait to see other parts of the planet!
- I love to spend time with my 7 months old nephew Jonah.
- I love sunsets and the sea.
- I love chocholate and watermelon (sometimes a bit too much)
