Hi there! I'm Andrew from Australia and am positively thrilled to be travelling the world post-COVID.

In recent years, I'm proud to of worked in healthcare as a paramedic, vaccinator and operating theatre technician -through some good and bad times. Interacting with my co-workers and patients, and learning their stories has always intrigued me and been a major bonus to my role.

However, for now, I'm truly happy to be on the road meeting people from all over the globe exchanging stories and good times alike. I love travelling because every interaction with the unknown allows me to grow and feel inspired.

Food, music and movies also make me a very happy man!

Currently, I'm exploring Southeast Asia and I plan to travel onwards and upwards to Turkey before venturing into the Balkans region.

I can't wait to discover and learn more!

As part of my worldly travels, I've discovered that many people are bilingual and I feel like I'm missing out on many opportunities to converse more deeply with different cultures. So, as part of my goals, I wish to learn the basics of as many languages as possible and even (maybe) become fluent. Additionally, I'm open to sharing as much English as I can with those who are interested and even some Aussie slang!

My skills range from a bachelor's degree in Paramedicine, vaccination and working within an operating theatre to assist perioperatively with major and minor surgeries. Regarding housekeeping, I believe my professional training and experience have carried over into my own space and that around me - I love a clean space for myself and those around me! I also enjoy cooking with fire and learning new recipes to try my hand at.

Growing up I worked in a major home and hardware store chain in Australia where I learnt to interact with thousands of people and provide and source information according to their needs. This included advice about outdoor furniture, minor improvements, flora and timber. Additionally, I have some woodworking experience from high school and find enjoyment in groundskeeping activities like mowing grass, clearing debris and maintaining a garden.

What else ...

First of all, being outdoors has always been a source of happiness for me whether I'm walking my dog, swimming in the ocean or adventuring through the bush to discover scenic areas.
I like to call myself a bedroom guitarist - I've been teaching myself songs and melodies on both electric and acoustic guitar for over 10 years and would be happy to continue practising if one is available to me. I love to discover and listen to new music and am very open to finding out what other people are listening to in their earphones and at home. Sometimes I find the time to read a book and relax most often reading Biographies of people I find the most interesting. I of course also enjoy movies too!
