Hi! I'm Andrea, 25 years old, from Italy!
I’m passionate about nature, culture, and human connection — I travel not just to move, but to learn, share, and grow through real experiences with local communities.

Over the past two years, I’ve embraced a way of travelling that prioritizes people over places..
One of the most meaningful experiences in my life happened in Sri Lanka, where I spent 3 weeks living with a rural family in a small village in the central highlands. During that time, I helped at the house, shared meals, learned about their traditions, and volunteered in a local school by doing English conversation classes and cultural speaking activities with teenagers.
That experience changed me — I discovered the power of simplicity, hospitality, and mutual curiosity.
I’ve also had two other Workaway experiences in Spain: one in Fuerteventura, on a sustainable eco-farm and the other in the Pyrenees, helping with mountain house renovation projects and taking care of horses, chickens, dogs and cats!

I speak fluent English and Italian, and I’m always happy to help with language learning, gardening, animal care, community work and cultural exchange.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science (focus: Culture and Social Change) and I did a Certificate Program called: Management of Biodiversity
