Hi everyone, we are an Italian couple, we arrived in New Zealand a couple of months ago with a working holiday visa. After these months spent living and working in Auckland, we would like to move and try this volunteering experience to connect more with the local people.

we want to find a family that lives sustainably and in line with nature as we are used to, so a farm would be the best place for us.
we are two guys who have already had different experiences in the world.

I, Andrea, have been an au pair for two years, I have a lot of experience with children as a babysitter and children's entertainment.
I love travelling and connecting with people, I have often used Couchsurfing to meet local people, which fills me with joy.
I really like cooking, they say I'm good!😁
I don't have much experience with farm-related activities but I'm not afraid of getting my hands dirty and I like being with animals.
I have some experience with plants and flowers, as I owned a flower shop for a while.

Marco has had several experiences abroad, including in Australia.
He has always worked as a welder.
He used to live in a little town in north Italy close to the mountain, in contact with nature and animals.
Where he lives they are used to having chickens, bunnies, geese and a big garden. He is used to dealing with a farm day, building, repairing, using a chainsaw for example and many other tools and preparing wood for the winter.. (sometimes he is been milking cows).
Marco has been working for five months as a hostel manager.

we like to enjoy nature, going to the mountains, hiking and climbing.

As we have already said, Andrea, I have experience with children, I grew up surrounded by cats, dogs and some farmyard animals such as rabbits.
I have done different jobs in my life I have been a beautician, nanny, babysitter, children's entertainment in holiday resorts, I have had my own flower and plant shop and I have also been a secretary in a swimming pool.
So I would say that one of my qualities is to get involved. Challenges don't scare me. I like to have new experiences, and I can adapt very easily, in fact, this thing helps me a lot in travel.
I can teach some dishes of Italian cuisine. I can help you with children and teach them something Italian. I can help you paint walls and do basic DIY.
Dogs and cats love me!

About Marco, as we have already said, grew up in a mountain village, always in contact with nature.
knows how to take care of all the work concerning farmyard animals, vegetable gardens and fruit trees.
He knows how to weld and use various DIY tools.
He can make wood for winter. He is a hunter and really enjoys going hunting.
He has also done several jobs in addition to the welder is also a ski instructor.
Every time a new opportunity presents itself, he is not frightened and throws himself headlong!

We are always open to learning new things and skills.

What we haven't said yet, I like to watch movies and TV series, do yoga, and swim.
I like astrology and all the extreme activities that include adrenaline!

Marco is passionate about cars, but not all of them, he loves the BMW brand.
He is passionate about mountains and likes climbing.
we like enjoy adventure together!
