Hello,

My name is Amaury, and I’ve been traveling in South America for the past four months. I started in Peru, then explored Ecuador and Colombia. During this journey, I had the opportunity to volunteer at a hostel in Colombia, where I worked on various projects. I helped with gardening, created and managed an Instagram page (including posts and marketing strategy), and did some DIY tasks like building wooden benches and renovating stairs.

I speak decent English, which allows me to hold conversations, and basic Spanish, enough for everyday interactions. My goal is to enrich my experience while continuing to travel and discover new cultures, all while keeping my expenses low.

I am currently looking for a new volunteering opportunity in exchange for food and accommodation. I am open to any type of work or field, as I wish to broaden my skills and learn new things. I am highly motivated, cheerful, and positive, with a passion for helping others. Before my trip, I worked at a business school in France, where I developed strong organizational and communication skills.

I am available for a phone call or interview, and since I don’t have a return ticket yet, I’m flexible with the duration of my stay.

In France, I have worked in several companies, including a communication and marketing agency in Lyon, in the south of the country. I have also held sales positions twice: once selling cars and another time selling personal protective equipment to businesses. These experiences allowed me to develop strong skills in communication and negotiation.

I am also passionate about psychology and neuroscience. In the future, I would like to create a project aimed at helping people improve their daily lives and achieve their personal and professional goals using tools and techniques from these fields.

Recently, I volunteered at a hostel in Colombia, where I participated in several projects, including gardening, marketing (creating an Instagram page and content), and DIY tasks like building wooden benches. Additionally, since childhood, I have worked with my hands alongside my grandfather, who was a farmer, and my father. These experiences have made me versatile and able to adapt to various types of tasks, whether manual or intellectual.
