Hey there,
my name is Alicia. I am 19 years old and I live in Bavaria, Germany.
I finished my A level in June 2022 and now I am using my " Gap Year" to travel around Europe.
I visited France, the Czech Republic, Ireland and Denmark. Every workaway was so special to me. I learned so much during my stays and I want to continue meeting new people and collecting lots of memories.
I love beeing in the nature, doing some yoga or just reading a good book. I really enjoy cooking and baking.
My hobbies are horse riding and gymnastics.

I started my workaway journey in mid October and I gained some experience in gardening and in renovating.
I also have some experience in taking care of children. I do gymnastics in a local club, where I often train kids at the age of five to twelve.
When I was fourteen I started to bake cakes and cookies and shortly after I also tried out cooking. At any time I am quite ambitous and eyery tiny cookie has to be perfect. I practised a lot and with the time I became quite good at it. In 2019 I tried an internship at a small bakery and I loved it.
For ten years now I do horse riding. I don't take part in tournaments. I prefer riding out with my friend or just working at the stable, because there is always something to do.
Last summer I worked at a hotel for three weeks where I gained some experience in serving food and cleaning the rooms.
In June 2023 i worked at a plant nursery. I gained some experience in how to grow your own vegtables. I planted new vegtables or I was weeding the bets. I really enjoyed to work outside. I don't mind getting my hands dirty.

I felt at home right from the beginning, when Evie read "Harry Potter" for the hole family after dinner (including me).
