Hi, I'm Alice. I'm 23 and I'd say I'm enthusiastic, hard working and easy-going. I left my office job in April and I'm after the opportunity to do something completely different, share skills and experiences with new people. I'm adventurous, have a wide range of interests and I'm always keen to learn whatever you can teach me.

Through Workaway I'd like to meet different people, learn skills and experience countries in more depth than if I were just on holiday. In my spare time I enjoy DIY, design, surfing, cooking and music. I’m quite a creative person and always have a project on the go. I'm super eco-friendly and love to be close to nature, whether that's the sea, mountains, lakes, countryside... Being as sustainable as possible is really important to me and I'm passionate about caring for the environment.

If anyone is able to teach me practical skills, I'd love the opportunity to learn. I'm particularly interested in carpentry and want to be self-sufficient in terms of not calling on other people (read: dad) when something needs fixing. I'm a quick learner and a problem-solver so give me a challenge!

Aside from the above, I'd like to work somewhere with a sociable atmosphere. I come from a big family and I know the importance of everyone contributing, being responsible and not expecting things to be done for you. It also means I can also cook enormous meals, if that counts as a skill.

I’d be happy to help wherever needed - I’ve been a receptionist before, helped on a farm, worked in a bar and kitchen, and I’ve got plenty of customer service experience. At the moment I'm a project coordinator but I'm looking for something completely different.

I’m creative, like efficiency, can cook, am quite practical and physically stronger than I look. I love working outdoors and learning new things.
