Hello hosts and fellow Workawayers!
We are Alex (31) and Steffi (29) from Germany, currently exploring the world with no fixed end in sight. What truly gives us energy during our travels is connecting with locals and other travelers. We love sharing stories, learning from different perspectives, and forming meaningful bonds along the way.
Both of us are sports and nature enthusiasts—we enjoy hiking, climbing mountains, and spending time with all kinds of animals. We’re also inspired by people we meet on our journey, constantly eager to learn new skills and broaden our horizons.
Our travels are a result of years of hard work. We both worked full-time and took on side jobs to save up for this adventure, which has made us even more motivated to appreciate every experience and contribute wherever we can.
We’ve just started our Working Holiday Visa in Perth and are looking for ways to make the most of this transition period while figuring out the necessary paperwork. During this time, we’d love to do something useful, be it helping out, learning new things, or connecting with the community.

We have gained practical skills along the way and also at home, such as basic handy work like painting, gardening, and animal care. Our experience caring for pets has been a big part of our journey, and we love working outdoors, getting our hands dirty, and being useful wherever possible.
We are always eager to learn new things and share our enthusiasm with those around us. From everyday tasks to learning new skills, we’re excited to help out and contribute in meaningful ways!
