Description

My name is Agne. I am a psychologist, yoga and meditation practitioner. The first time I volunteered was almost 5 years ago in the USA, in Kadampa meditation Centre in New York and a little farm in New Hapshire. I was also enrolled on a student program “Work and Travel USA” in East Glacier National Park, MT.
Currently I'm volunteering in a permaculture farm in Skåne and I love it very much. I am attracted to organic, healthy spiritual lifestyle and I would love to help others build communities based on these values. Would love to become a part of such a community since I've recently started to realize the benefits and the potential that communal living holds for the individual and the society. Inhaling some fresh air and digging my hands into the soil is a new type of meditation I would like to cultivate :)

While on a program "Work and travel USA" I worked in a hostel / bakery and my responsibilities included a variety of duties: from administering guests to serving deli snacks and cleaning the hostel itself. A lot of multitasking was needed and I discovered that I like having things done and taking care of every corner as it is means to creating more pleasant and less stressful environment. Also, helped out at a wooden spoon shop. Learned how to make wooden spoons and some other utensils from scratch which was supper fun and also a gateway for expressing creativity. Have some experience giving my life some meaning through volunteering. I helped children at the orphanage with their homework, provided some assistance and emotional help for blood cancer patients.
