Hi!
We are Lauren (France, 32 y/o) and Simone (Italy, 26 y/o).
We met in France during Simone's time as a Workawayer in Arles, and got soon together. The rest is history!
LAUREN
Lauren is a sommelière specialized in natural wines. She is really passioned about her work and you can see her lighting up, enthusiastic, when the conversation turns about wine.
She has a varied background (split between France, Canada, South Korea) and had multiple experiences: working for a history museum; in a vineyard; being a wine retailer; babysitting, and much more!
She is an experienced photograph and cinema enthusiast.
SIMONE
Simone just concluded his Master in History of Art and intimately re-discovered a very strong need to travel around the globe (firstly, France).
He was a boy-scout, and this really built his love for nature.
Every summer meant for him Summer Camp: taking care of kids (7 to 13 y/o), organizing activities and even cooking for them (100 kiddos everyday at lunch!).
He loves languages, history, philosophy and visual art (of course...), as he's a drawer and a painter himself (in pause for Workaway).
WE
We love to explore the world and learn about new cultures and food (yay!)
We are calm and meditative humans but we really enjoy being together with other people to talk, joke, play and laugh.
We are really aware of environmental problems and we try to keep two eyes (one is not enough) on what we consume daily concerning every field (transports, food, clothes, water...).
We support local-biologic-natural food and products; so, we would like to know more on how to have other beneficial impacts on planet earth!
