I've just re-joined Workaway! I've been living in Bristol, UK for the last 9 years where I've played in a band and worked in various industries. Living in the city can burn you out a little, and I'm keen for a short or long-term change...
Briefly, I'm 41-years-old - My family is originally Italian, but I grew up in South Africa, and I've lived at various times in Australia, Italy, France and England. I last used Workaway in 2012 in France.
In the last few years, I've been very fortunate to travel a fair bit - I've had some great opportunities - and I'm really looking forward to more... My background is mainly in commercial art - I'm a trained graphic designer, and I'd like to (one-day!) complete my literature degree. I'm also a musician with some sound-engineering experience and I really enjoy restoring stringed instruments and furniture - so I think I would really get on well with someone from a similar background(?), but generally I'm adaptable, polite, neat and easy to get along with!
I try to work hard, and make sure things run smoothly...

I've worked in Restaurants and hotels (with some minor bar work). I've worked in retail (books and music), I'm fairly good with gardening (if I know what I'm doing), I have some DIY skills - Painting, clearing and cleaning up.
I have computer skills... I'm not an IT professional, but I've become pretty good at product photography and creating/editing content for websites and social media, as well as proofreading.
I have some pretty good practical/'arts and crafts' skills as well: I restore musical instruments (mostly guitars), and also enjoy repairing/restoring furniture, bits and pieces, etc.
I've completed an introductory TEFL course years ago(!) - so I (think I) can offer some language lessons (English, Beginners French and Italian).

Like I mentioned, I'm quite easy-going; I don't smoke, drink very rarely or not at all.
