Hiya I'm Abby! I'm a big dreamer who likes to turn those dreams into memories. I believe life is best lived by pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. I'm also a big believer that the best things in life are the connections and relationships you have with others~ that's the main reason I'm on Workaway so I can travel and do something meaningful while meeting amazing people. it's a win win win !

I am a very happy positive person who loves meeting new people and learning new things. I want to experience and learn as much as I can. I love talking about philosophy and learning peoples stories. I really just love people.

I have worked on a windjammer (old schooner) in Maine, backpacked Europe, lived out of a van for 1 n half years (and counting!), worked in wilderness therapy and am now traveling Asia. I have stories to tell and love to be inspired by others. anywaysss hoping I can meet more incredible people and help out along the way!

I have a bachelors degree in Strategic Communication that focuses on helping businesses expand their social media presence and help create a good brand image to attract new customers. And besides my great skills at chess and making fettuccine Alfredo, my work skills have come from past jobs I've had namely;

cook on an old sailboat, deckhand on said sailboat, janitor, photographer, dental assistant, and event coordinator. I also have experience with nannying and running social media accounts and creating logos for businesses!

Have experience working in gardens, using a wood oven stove, chopping up a heck of a lot of wood, stacking wood, cleaning just about anything, and I'm really great with kids and the elderly.

I've helped build a library in the Amazon on a humanitarian trip. We would mix cement and pour/lay it out, we also put up walls and roof and painted the inside and outside.

Also have experience building things with wood as I built out my van into a home.

So I can help with anything ranging from pulling out your tooth, making cement, organizing a poolside carnival, to cleaning toilets! I have excellent customer service skills and good work ethic.
