Description
Hello everyone!
I am so excited to be a part of this community. I am a college student in California and have always had wanderlust. I Want to be everywhere, in any country, forest or city, to explore and experience things in a different light than I can at home.
I have traveled a good amount on my own. Two years ago, I did a workaway in Germany at a vet clinic. This gave me experience working in a different country and handling the language barrier. I’ve toured Austria and the Czech Republic with my high school band and visited Italy, France, and Mexico with my family. I love tasting food from different cultures, and I really love being outdoors, biking, hiking, and walking through woods/hills, or walking and swimming at a beach.
I am a very creative person who loves to do DIY projects. I have helped with house building (working mostly on fencing and landscaping), and I have always been a gardener at home.
If you can’t tell from my past work experience, I love animals. My family and I foster kittens and dogs, and I grew up volunteering at local animal shelters. My dream job growing up was to work at a nature reserve and help rehabilitate and take care of the animals there! I also have worked as a camp counselor many times and am great at working with children, having fun with or teaching them.Interests

More details about your skills
I am studying mechanical engineering in college and I have done work with welding, casting, machining, and more. I have also helped my dad with handyman work and can paint walls/houses, put up fences, work on landscaping and general gardening. I am strong and athletic and not afraid of a solid day’s work, and can help with moving big objects!
I have worked with children at multiple camps and in tutoring and I love it, I am able to connect with the kids and help them find new hobbies and help them grow. I am always happy to play a board game, build a pillow fort, play tag, or to teach math and other subjects.
I love animals and have been closely around them my whole life. I have grown up with dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, foster kittens/puppies, and I ride English as well.
All in all, I just hope some of these hobbies will get put to good use or I will learn some new things with my next workaway.Age
