Description
Hello!
I'm Ida, a curious and friendly girl from northern Germany.
I am just about to finish school. Therefore I am looking forward to experiencing as much as I can before a start an apprenticeship to become a nurse and go to uni after that.
I love getting to know other cultures and learn new things in general. I enjoy hiking, paddle boarding, music, swimming, windsurfing and going out with friends. Besides, I love animals... especially dogs and horses.
My goal is to learn new things, immerse myself in new environments and not only understand but also experience different ways of life. I also love a good chat...maybe even over a cheeky drink ;) and I am excited to meet wonderful people from all over the world!!Interests

I've been learning English since I was 7 years old and got a lot better over the years and German is my mother tongue. At my school you were able to choose certain profiles in which you wanted to ''specialize'' and I chose the language profile. I was, and still am, especially interested in the English language, which is why I went on a short exchange in the UK. During my stay I have enhanced my skills and speak fluently now. One of my best friend is actually English, which really helps to basically practice every day. Learning new languages opens so many doors...and it just feels amazing being able to have a conversation with someone in another language. That is why I want to enable people to do the same. I am not a professional teacher, but as I am just out of school I remember exactly how my teacher taught me. Besides, I am I firm believer in: learning by doing ;) Personally, I am interested in learning a bit Italian, as I just love the language.Skills and knowledge I'd like to share or learn

More details about your skills
I would consider myself as a bit of an allrounder. I am a fast learner and I'm keen to improve myself across many areas.
I've worked in a surfshop, which is why I would consider myself as a very social person. I like dealing and working with people. However, I'm also just as willing to get my hands dirty with any tasks needing to be done around environments including housework, gardening or farming.
My family's got a dog back at home, which is why I'm also prepared to take care of dogs or cats as well. Besides, growing up I went horse riding. Therefore I also know a bit about horses.
I speak English and German fluently and I'm willing to teach anyone who´s interested in the language. However, keep in mind that English is not my mother tongue but I have been learning it for many years. I've also done an exchange month in the UK, which is why I'd say I speak pretty fluently.Age

What else ...
As mentioned I love exploring new cultures and different ways of life. I also have a passion for traveling...even though I haven't been to a lot of places yet.
Between school and my apprenticeship there is a free span of more or less 4 months and I want to make the most out of them! I want to experience things, be open minded, learn, have fun and get to know people from all around the world! Some more information
