Description
Here is my general intro: I have a small farm with a small cottage. I am looking for short term workawayers with their own transportation. I am 12 miles from town, 5 miles to closest grocery store, so your own wheels makes it better for YOU.
The help is not rigorous. It is EASY and takes very little time, but conscientiousness is VERY IMPORTANT.
My ideal person would be a non-smoker, handy, mobile, and interested in 1-2 week stays.
I am starting to plan some travel in the spring of 2024. Stay tuned!

If they have their own wheels, Aiken is an amazing historic horse town. It is small and quaint with a vibrant downtown. Augusta is also nearby and is larger with quite alot of good night time music and a street scene.

Accommodation
Farmsitter will have the guest bedroom in my cozy, remodeled cottage. There is no dishwasher - otherwise, the cottage has all the comforts. The farm is 8 acres and private and quiet and 12 miles from town.
What else ...
Aiken is a lovely, smallish equestrian town. There are fantastic polo matches on Sundays that are free, horse shows, fox hunting. Hitchcock Woods is a beautiful equestrian/walker friendly forest with 60 miles of trails. Augusta is larger and has a bit more to offer. 15 minutes away. Atlanta is 3 hours away. Beaches are 3 hours away. Mountains are 3 hours away. My place is in a rural, peaceful setting. A good place for quiet and reflection.
