Description
In the beautiful setting of Lake Bracciano, in the charming town of Anguillara Sabazia, the new season of our bar has just begun!
We are a small, vibrant natural wine and vinyl bar — a magical place for connection, culture, and community.
Right now, we're looking for a motivated and friendly person to join our team. We need someone who can help out in the kitchen, assist with basic maintenance, and support the three amazing women currently running the place.
If you enjoy good music, natural wines, and being part of a creative and welcoming environment, this could be the perfect experience for you!
Anguillara Sabazia is a gem — a picturesque lakeside village just outside of Rome, with cobbled streets, stunning sunsets over the water, and a relaxed, authentic atmosphere. Whether you're into nature, history, or just slowing down and enjoying life, you'll fall in love with the area.
There are beautiful hiking trails, swimming spots, and local markets — plus Rome is just a short train ride away if you want to explore the city.
This is a special place, and we believe you’ll feel that magic as soon as you arrive.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
At our Bar, we love creating a sense of community — not just for our guests, but also for the people who work with us. As part of the team, you’ll be included in dinners, aperitivi by the lake, wine tastings, and local events. There’s often live music, DJ sets, and spontaneous get-togethers with artists, musicians, and locals who are part of the extended family. It’s a great place to connect, share stories, and feel at home.
We’re happy to share what we know about natural wines, Italian cooking, organizing small cultural events, and running a small, independent business. You’ll also get a real taste of what it’s like to live in a lakeside town near Rome — slow rhythms, genuine food, and strong community ties.
By hosting Workawayers, we’re hoping to learn from different ways of seeing the world, exchange ideas, and build new friendships across cultures. Every person who joins us brings something unique, and we’re always excited to see how that enriches our space and our lives.
We (Marta and my partner Tommaso — the owner of Bar and the B&B) live just upstairs from the Workawayer rooms, along with our sweet little cat. So while you'll have your own space and privacy (the room is equipped with a small kitchen and fridge), we’re always nearby in case you need anything, or just want to share a glass of wine and a chat on the terrace.Host offers payment in line with the minimum wage

Help
As a Workawayer, you’ll be helping mainly with kitchen prep and light cooking (don’t worry, we’ll show you everything!), general maintenance of the space, and offering support during events or busy evenings. You’ll also be giving a hand to the team with day-to-day tasks like setting up, cleaning, organizing, and making sure everything runs smoothly.
We’re looking for someone reliable, proactive, and flexible — someone who enjoys being around people, music, and a relaxed but lively atmosphere. Some experience in hospitality or kitchen work is a plus, but not required. A good attitude matters most!
We offer a wage of €6 per hour, plus accommodation. You’ll have plenty of free time to explore the area, relax by the lake, and soak up the local culture.Languages

As a Workawayer, you’ll be staying in one of our B&B apartments, just a short walk from the bar itself. The accommodation is located along the beautiful lakeside staircase — a stone path that winds up from the water’s edge — leading to charming apartments with stunning views over Lake Bracciano.
The rooms are bright, beautifully furnished, and have that peaceful, dreamy atmosphere that makes you feel like you're living inside an Italian postcard. We want your stay to be more than just a work exchange — we want it to feel like a unique, unforgettable experience.
Waking up to the view of the lake, walking down the steps to join the team, and spending your free time exploring or simply relaxing by the water… it's the kind of rhythm we hope you’ll fall in love with too. What else ...
The atmosphere is very friendly, relaxed, and open — a mix of home, community, and creative energy. We look forward to welcoming you into this little world.
