Description
We are an off grid homestead 1 hr northwest of Taos building with earthbags. Cerro Montoso is an ancient volcano west of the Rio grande located in the Del Norte National Monument. Montoso is a sky island covered in piñon, cedar & ponderosa forests located above the desert mesa. Enjoy sweeping views of the San Luis Valley overlooking the Rio grande. We are a family of 7. Mick & Olivia met in NYC and traveled around the southwest for a few years before moving to the Taos area in 2019.
We are currently building our earthbag house as well as building water catchments and gardens.
Olivia is a full time mom/ traditional midwife/ herbalist & former jeweler. Mick is a full time dad/ musician/ former art gallerist & stock broker. We have 6 kids (9/8/6/4/2/2m). We are surrounded by nature. We enjoy hikes on Montoso or a trip down to the river ( we are located directly across the wild rivers area). We have dark skies that make for epic star gazing.Types of help and learning opportunities
