    Description

    Hello
We are chocolate makers, and work with chocolate and coffe. We are located in one of the most beautifull villages of the sacred valley of Cusco which is Pisac.
We have a shop, plenty of different and surprising different chocolate products, a cafeteria and a small museum of chocolate.

Our teamwork is small, with a few people for the shop and a few for production. It's been changing a little bit, but now it's more stable, with a clear structure from the owners.

    Hola

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

First of all, travellers can learn many things about our star product, chocolate, how to make it (participating in a workshop) and its history.
They can learn how to prepare drinks (coffes, milkshakes or juices) and some pastry, working with tourist and customers in general, learning some selling abilities and customer service.

Here at Pisac we also have many cultural traditions and celebrations preserved from thousands of years, handcrafts, clothes, jewellery and many other souvenirs from Inka's culture.

Since we have a chocolate shop we offer chocolate samples to the tourists that are passing by our store, we also give small explanations of the chocolate making process and origin, which we would provide to the workawayers. We also need eventually help with the chocolate workshops and visits to our museum, having the products disposed in the shelves at the shop, and sometimes translating to other languages.

Workawayers can help with all of these tasks, depending of their will to learn and capabilities. A good match are talkative and extroverted people. But people loving chocolate will find a way to help, for sure. And somebody like that is not difficult to find!

Months between may and july are more busy. It would be great to have help, specially at that time. We may accept more workawayers then.

    What else ...

Since the town of Pisac is really small and surrounded by mountains and archaeological places, there are plenty of things to do here, like going hiking.
There are also people from different parts of the world who are also traveling like you, or settled down in the area, and they're always offering Yoga classes, spiritual retreatments, a good variety of food and many other things.

The town is only 40 minutes by car from Cusco city and there busses running almost 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
