My name's Alex, I'm 25 years old and I do have a DEEP LOVE for LIFE! 💝
I was born and grew up in Ferrara, a town in Emilia Romagna in northern Italy but my life changed about five years ago when I left Italy to go and explore Australia, in what I I thought was only going to be an “experience abroad”. Instead, Melbourne stole my heart and I ended up spending the last four years (on and off) there. It is right in the latter where I changed profoundly and where I began to love life and people even more. 🙏🏽
Yes, I do really love people and they are the reason why I love traveling. I have no doubt about it: people are what make a trip special and unforgettable.
Nature lover, I like to appreciate it in its simplest aspects. 🌻
Getting lost in long hikes through the forests, camping in the middle of nowhere and contemplating the stars timeless is my definition of happiness. Oh yeah, even admiring the sunrise by the sea or on top of a mountain touches me very deeply!
Apart from travel, I’m a big tennis and music fan.
Tennis accompanies me since the age of seven and it’s been essential in the formation of the person I am. Music, instead, there’s always been. Raised among Aerosmith and Pink Floyd I can say I’ve had a happy childhood!

A few months ago I left Australia where I was working as a tennis coach and racquet stringer.
Currently I'm working in a mountain lodge as a waiter in the Dolomites (Italy) and my experience is about to end - reason why I'm about to leave again for other beautiful adventures! 🤠
I also LOVE writing and reading and that’s what you can find me doing in my spare time. I write about my deep love for life, I try to analyze human emotions and I share the importance of practicing gratitude in everyday life. To me every day must be lived to the fullest and I want to help people find their own happiness in the ordinary.

I didn't mention that my year in Australia started right with workaway! So I've been able to gain lots of experience. I stayed with two wonderful families and I did several jobs such as: gardening, painting, porter, cooking, cleaning, animal care (oh yeah, I LOVE dogs infinitely!), construction (okay, just very little) and some other tasks.
I have to say I never did any of those jobs before so you can understand I am very willing to learn something new all the time! Please consider me even if you need help in something I never did, I'll be happy to try my best. 😉
My work ethic is strong. I believe that passion, determination and curiosity can make us learn any kind of job. With that being said, please consider my help even if I don’t have any previous experience. 😀
✏️ 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘦𝘭𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘢𝘺...
After finishing a few months of work in Italy I've decided to take a few months off to decide what to do next so I thought this is a GREAT opportunity for me to use my time to experience something I’ve never done before and learn new skills! 🔧
My goal for the upcoming months is simple: to help, to give, to make connection, and to become a better human being for a better world. I'd like to do that by starting volunteering in the poorest areas of India (country I love deeply and that I feel like exploring more) - in addition to that I'd like to explore more of Asia, particularly the Philippines as I'd like to complete my scuba diving course and hopefully help in kids education as well.
I believe doing such an experience will help me gain new skills, challenge myself and, most importantly, give love and help to people in need.
I reckon we can only keep moving forward if we are able to keep challenging ourselves constantly by doing stuff outside our comfort zone and I am very keen and ready to do that! 🙋🏽♂️
I wish to connect with locals and travelers, stay in nature, make friends and adventures; I really want to spread some good energy and positivity around me. ☀️
After my come back from Australia my life has taken on another rhythm and I now love to take it slow and live in the moment. We don't need any more stress in this fast paced life!
That's also why, when I travel, I really like to disconnect from technology and instead connect the most with people!
To me, the most important things are: to stay in close contact with nature and people, manifestate gratitude, spread some good energy to the ones around me and also, very important, to bring joy and value to the people I will meet, together with making a positive impact on your project! 🌈
