Hello to everyone!
I'm Zoe, 29 years old and from the UK.

I'm traveling and using Workaway to explore the area and lend a hand to local businesses and charitable organisations.

My previous volunteering experience:
Thailand, Ban Nam Khem- 2015, teaching English in schools and orphanages.

Thailand, Koh Lanta- 2026, dog sanctuary.

London, England- 2016, special educational needs school.

London, England- 2018, I created an organisation in which myself and school
children would give people living on the streets food, blankets and water.

London, England-2017, I created three groups in a local school called Lego club, Confidence Club and yoga club to help social skills, build confidence and mindfulness in children with and without special educational needs.

I enjoy hiking, doing yoga, learning and going on adventures, whether I'm by myself or with new friends I've made while traveling.

Working in exchange for accommodation lets me really connect with local people, learn about the culture and meet other volunteers. It also helps me keep a regular schedule while I travel and gives me a chance to support local businesses and charitable organisations.


I have many years work experience in childcare, housekeeping and hospitality.

I really love learning new things and take any job seriously whilst enjoying the learning experience or helping others to learn and taking pride in the outcome of my work, whatever the job was!

Having a career for 10 years straight makes me a traveler who is experienced in working, reliable and yet excited to seek out the local area, I also value the circle of people around me and would love to exchange cultures and stories!

Was noch ...

I have recently volunteered in Thailand with a dog rescue shelter and spent 6 months in a very isolated town in the Australian outback whilst working as an all-rounder in a rural hotel.

I loved both the work and meeting new people, playing board games and pool.

I don't drink, just enjoy chill evenings, games, beaches and making friends.
