Beschreibung

Hello! We are Vladyslav and Yelyzaveta, a couple from Ukraine who can't stay at one place for longer than a couple of months. Wind blows, and we go with it. Further and further in our destinations and experiences :)
The last couple of years we experienced living and travelling in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, Poland, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Italy, France, Austria, China, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Iceland, India, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, and Brazil

We love travelling and meeting new people, and are very attached to nature. That's why we usually get an impression about countries mostly by observing the rural life and people who lives there. Before arriving to Canada, we've been living in Sweden for a half of a year (the longest time we settled down somewhere) in a beautiful village totally lost in the woods (with bears, elks and moose). There we helped out with gardening and taking care of sheep, along with playing and babysitting the majestic elk-dog.

As you probably know, it is war in our Homeland, and by helping other people in something so normal, by looking at the peaceful life here, we want to find some peace for ourselves, too. (But we kindly ask you not to think of us as people who just want to live for free at your place. It's our second month in Canada and we can afford renting apartments and we both have ongoing freelance projects. Currently we want to help out, to find friends and exchange experiences)

P.S. In future we are planning to have a small hobby farm ourselves, so we are really happy to learn some new useful skills and to find good friends to share experiences! :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Each of us can help with general maintenance, gardening, some DIY projects, creative play, organising tourists attractions, etc, but more specifically we are good at those things:
Vlad:
⁃ Has driver license for different types of transport (vans, motorbikes, cars)
⁃ Experienced in web and mobile development (over 7 years working on looots of different projects)
⁃ Good at cooking (especially Ukrainian and Asian cuisine)
⁃ Good with kids (has a little sister and 3 cousins)
- Loves animals (was raised on the small farm in Ukraine and knows how to deal with animals)
⁃ Fast learner (we had several problems with the car that was successfully fixed by Vlad by YouTube guides and some great logical skills)
- Can handle construction work (if given a proper assistance)
Yely:
⁃ Good in Arts & Crafts (works as a freelance illustrator and designer)
⁃ Loves gardening (helped grandparents in the countryhouse since childhood, but requires some assistance to understand the specifics of soil, taking care of unknown creatures, etc)
⁃ Loves all animals (especially, dogs)
- Has (some) experience in farm chores
⁃ Had practice in teaching kids at school (has a bachelor degree in Chinese language and literature)
- Had practice at organising city tours in Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine
- Good at cleaning and decorating space
- Can handle construction work (if given a proper assistance)

We both are quite good at content making and photography, as we owned an outdoor-themed online store in Ukraine (@sleepy_bear.store in Instagram) and did marketing and all the content by ourselves. While Vlad is especially good at landscape photography, Yely has worked as a portrait and fashion photographer for couple of years :)

Was noch ...

Although we are not vegetarians or vegans, we are good and respective to any ways of eating. Food is a choice like anything else :)
