Hey there!
I am Vivi and i am a new member of the workaway-family. I ended up on this website, after a trip to Iceland. I was there for the third time and i realized, that i want more than just a sightseeing tour for a week. I want to learn about tradition, culture, nature, language and the daily-life in Iceland. So i started to think about how to achieve that. The first thing that came into my mind was: work and travel. So here i am.

Was könntest du arbeiten?
I am a medical student and i already completed two apprenticeships in the healthcare system because i had to wait a few years to get a place at university. I also worked in the gastronomy for a couple of years after school.
Besides i have three younger brothers, so i have some experience in taking care of kids :)
I speak german and english. I also understand a little bit of danish, because my grandmother is from denmark. I already tried to learn a bit of the icelandic language and i would love to learn more of that ( best way to do that is to be there!).
What else can i tell you?
I've been living with my boyfriend together for a few years, so i know how to run the household and i am good at cleaning up. I can also cook simple things, but i prefer to leave that to my boyfriend.
I am very passionate about my study and things i set out to do. For this reason i am a hard working person and not afraid of new challenges. I also love to spend time with my family and the dog of my mom. Family life is very important to me!
