Beschreibung

Hello! My name is Venice. I am a 25-year-old multidisciplinary artist and social worker from California, USA. I am currently traveling through Europe and interested in making fun memories and adventures with like-minded people. I have experience with working in the field such as as pruning olive trees, cutting bamboo, and gardening. As well as metal and wood work building fences. I can cook, clean, and lend a helping hand.

I chose these fields because I am passionate about ending homelessness, and I believe art is a form of therapy that allows everyone to express their creativity and passions. I graduated from San Diego State University with a B.A. During my time there, I took several ceramics classes and fell in love with the medium. I love both hand-building and throwing on the wheel.

I also volunteer with a non-profit called VetArt, which provides a free ceramics studio, classes, and materials to veterans, active-duty service members, and their families. I help with reclaiming clay, loading and firing kilns, cleaning the studio, and assisting with our monthly raku firings. I love being able to give back to my community through all of these different non-profit organizations.

In my free time, I love to surf, skateboard, make pottery, play billiards, and spend time with my family.
