I have recently decided to take a break from my professional work to make room for a more organic way to be of service to other people with my skills, ideas, and of course, a smile.
I am a philosophy graduate and have been studying and contemplating philosophy for more than a decade. The main reason for joining Workaway is to spend time with communities from whom I can learn and to whom I hope to be of service. With a simple life, I also hope to find more space for inner reflection.
Having done many types of jobs makes it hard to make a list of skills and experiences, so I will simply add that what I don't know, I can learn very quickly!
Also, after working indoors for many years, I am more than happy to help with all sorts of manual work!
My main languages are English, Maltese and Italian. I also have limited knowledge of other European languages and am currently studying Mandarin.
Furthermore, this period will be an opportunity for me to work on my small writing projects, for which peaceful places close to nature would be very beneficial.
In conclusion, I am mostly looking forward to meeting interesting and friendly people who make every moment worth remembering, and I will be happy to share anything that I can in return :)

Qualified English teacher, with experience teaching people of all ages and from many countries.
I am a very technical person and can always find my way when it comes to digital and electronic problems to be solved.
Not a qualified chef, but I know my way around the kitchen. Keeping a place clean and tidy goes hand in hand.
Good organisation, logical thinking, and problem-solving (that's basically dealing with life).
I haven't done much gardening and would very much love to expand my knowledge on anything biological/agricultural.
Most of all, I like to think that with common sense and some YouTube videos (a real teacher would be even better), there is nothing I cannot learn to do :D

I enjoy having discussions about philosophy, spirituality, politics, history, and anything that allows our minds to discover new depths. Having such conversations is what makes life most meaningful and rich.
Although I don't get tired of thinking and sharing ideas, I also like to enjoy life's simple pleasure, especially when it's about good music and long walks.
