Beschreibung

What truly energizes me is genuine human connection, the kind that only happens face to face, over a real conversation. There's something irreplaceable about sitting down with someone new and just talking. I think this kind of human connection comes from mainly three things for me.

First, cooking. I find a lot of joy in preparing food for people, and I'm always curious to learn what others make in their own kitchens. Food is one of the fastest ways I know to connect across language and culture.

Second, working with my hands. Building, crafting, fixing, growing, anything where I can see and feel the result of the effort. There's a quiet satisfaction in making something real.

Third, being outdoors. It recharges me in a way nothing else quite does, whether that's working in a garden, going for a long walk, or just being present in a natural space.

And more than anything, I'm motivated by being useful. Knowing that my time and energy went toward something that genuinely helped someone makes the work feel meaningful.

Was noch ...

Outside of work and study, I stay pretty active. I swim, bike, and hike regularly, and I genuinely enjoy being outdoors and moving around. I also play baseball and volleyball casually with my friends at university.

For indoor activities, I enjoy poker and Catan. I am always happy to teach either game to anyone who has not played before. Cooking goes beyond just a skill for me. It is one of my main hobbies. I find a lot of satisfaction in trying new recipes, learning regional techniques, and cooking for other people.
