Hi World! I'm Alba. I'm here to learn from travelling by hopefully getting to know some beautiful places and people!! I work hard and am always ready to pick up a new skill in order to help out on your projects.

Though I'm young, I've travelled alone before and can look after myself. I respect that this platform runs on a lot of trust, and I know that if you let me help you, I would be committed doing so in any way I can.

ps. I have both French and British passports!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

- Volunteered on WWOOFing farms, constructing and maintaining garden beds, planting trees, and doing some light forestry

- Helped build a room using bio-construction techniques (bamboo framing and argil walls) including making a mural out of glass bottles! I also painted a mural for some other people I was staying with which was very fun ;)

- Waitress in restaurants and at functions for a silver service catering company, experience serving customers, setting/clearing tables and a little bartending

- Kitchen porter, experience with food prep, cleaning kitchens and washing all dishes

- I have stewarded in several festivals (including on overnight shifts) and had a great time helping out with the smooth running of the event and meeting new people :)

These jobs have often meant long hours and being proactive - I can work hard and am ready to be on my feet doing physical tasks for long periods of time.

- Playworker at an after-school club, looking after children aged 4-11 (which I loved!) so experience being responsible for large groups of kids. This was at an international school, many of the children's first language was not English, and part of my role was to build their confidence speaking it.

I love getting involved with creative/outdoor projects, but I could also definitely help with computers and social media, both of which I use frequently. As part of a university project, I made a short documentary and some learned some (basic!) filming and editing skills, which I'd be happy for an opportunity to improve on!
And of course, I'll do my share of cooking/cleaning - if you have any recipes to teach me, I'm always looking to learn more ;)

Childcare, catering/hospitality work, gardening, art projects - I'm happy to help with anything. And if I don't have previous experience with what you need doing, I'm a fast learner and determined to make myself useful, so will happily learn new skills.

Was noch ...

I am more than happy to stay in for quiet evenings and will not need entertaining if you are busy/need time alone. However, I'd also love to get to know you if you like, and am just as content with a board game or film as going out.

I'm currently doing an undergrad in Anthropology and pretty in love with my subject! Very happy to share/discuss and learn - about that or anything else, there's so much to know ...

Other than that, I love being in outdoors, camping, swimming hiking etc - I've climbed for several years but unfortunately only indoors up until now, and I would love to get outside on some real rock ;)
