Hello! My name is Sofia and I am from Slovakia. I have started my travels in October, visiting Thailand and Malaysia. I’m a slow, yet sometimes spontaneous traveler – I like to get to know a place, its culture and customs, and I enjoy meeting new people and sharing with them good food, conversations and fun experiences.
I am an easy-going and reliable person, and I try to explore new places with an open heart. I like to immerse myself into the culture of a place while meeting locals and other travelers, sharing and learning from each other. I am ready to help out with whatever is needed at the moment, and hope to learn new things on the way.
I am currently traveling solo, but I’m open for meeting up or traveling together for some time, so if you’re interested we can chat and figure something out!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I worked part-time in a coffee shop for three years, saving money for this trip.
I have some experience in gardening, having spent some time working with the city gardeners of Quiberon, France, and on an organic rice farm in rural Malaysia.
I did some metalworking in school, learning and applying the fundamental techniques. As a final project I spent two weeks in a blacksmith, where I helped out with the tasks and even smithed my own dagger (beware).
I am open to learning new skills and would love to give you a hand no matter the task! I hope to gain new skills, share my experience, and have a good time with you during my stay.

I enjoy doing music, learning languages and training for badminton.
