Hi there :)
My name is Sydney, 22 years old, and I'm currently studying media communication in Würzburg. When I'm not busy with uni or work, I enjoy cooking, singing in my local choir, going for a swim in the river, taking care of my various house plants (sadly no garden or balcony yet), running and working out, foraging for mushrooms in autumn, painting birthday cards and going for hiking trips in the area.
I would describe myself as an open-minded, friendly and creative person that has a passion for nature, food, animals (especially cats!) and all kinds of creativity.
I also love to travel. During 10th grade I spent four months in Salamanca, Spain and that really inspired me to just get out there and travel to learn about other cultures and meet people. So after finishing my high school I solo-travelled around Europe for two months and took various trips with friends since then. In 2024 I was able to accompany my boyfriend on his Workaway experience in Sardinia for a month. We helped a lovely family with their land and animals and had the best time.
I'm really looking forward to new experiences and to learn more about farming and being self sufficient. My future plan is to own a perma culture/self sufficiency farm together with my boyfriend, so I'm really eager to collect as many experiences and as much knowledge as possible.
