Beschreibung

Hi! I'm Suri, a 30-year-old traveler from Mexico currently exploring Southeast Asia. I’ve been living in South Korea for the last 4 years and before that I've also lived in Canada and Peru!

I feel happiest when surrounded by kind people, animals, nature, or food. I love exploring new places slowly, learning from different cultures, and connecting with people in simple but meaningful ways.

What motivates me the most is the idea of exchanging experiences, skills, and stories. I believe in mutual respect, being present, and staying open-minded.

Traveling has taught me a lot about myself and the world. Through volunteering, I hope to contribute in small ways, help where I can, and grow through each new connection.

I’m always up for learning something new, whether it’s helping on a farm, cooking local dishes, or just listening to people’s stories. If there's music, animals, plants, or genuine people around, I’ll be happy!!

I speak fluent Spanish, English, and Portuguese, and I can also communicate in conversational Korean, as well as a bit of French and Italian. I've helped teach Spanish and Korean to young adults for over 2 years.

I’m easy-going, creative, responsible, and curious about different cultures. I'm passionate about sustainability, community-based projects, and meaningful travel.

I’ve worked in marketing, logistics, and education, and I’m currently helping a remote startup team with content creation, AI and outreach. I’m flexible with tasks and I love trying new things — whether it’s gardening, helping in hostels, teaching, cooking, or helping with digital tasks.

I’m the kind of person who talks to dogs like they’re people and say bless you when they sneeze. I love animals in general and hope to one day own a farm with lots of them!

I love slow mornings, good playlists, and random deep conversations about life, the universe, or why avocados are never ripe when you need them.

I enjoy watching movies (especially anything with a little drama or a good twist), and pretending I’m good at card games even though I lose most of the time.

I'm a bit introverted at first but once I feel comfortable, I’m all about laughing, helping, and probably overusing sarcasm!
