What motivates me is personal growth, i take my growth very seriously and am constantly working on myself, being outside brings me happiness and learning new things. I have 15 years hospitality experience, I have ran estate's in the uk, around 4 years garden maintenance experience, I have ran campsites in New Zealand and Australia, where I also learned some eco building skills (super adobe and cob), I have labouring experience too. I love animals and most of all I love to learn New skills.

I have lots of energy to work, like to chat and be social but also like my own space and respect others need for space too, I believe that kindness is currency and we can all learn from each other. I love learning new things and will put my hand to anything. Most recently I've been travelling around with Giffords Circus where I've been touring for two years nearly as assistant tour manager, housekeeper, front of house, housekeeping, advertising, pulling down of the tent and re building it every two weeks. Over the winter for the circus I worked in the workshop, where I learned how to use most tools in carpentry and learned to fix up old showman wagons. I love travelling meeting new people.

Hey, My name is Sophie,

Ill tell you a little about myself and experience, I'm 30 years old, I've just spent the last 4years in the southern hemisphere. mainly New Zealand for 3years and Australia for 1, I did an amazing workaway in Australia, for 6 months was only supposed to be there a week, it was amazing, helping build one of Australia's biggest super Adobe house. we lived as a community of around 12to 15 people at a time building It. can send their fb page if you want to check it out 😃 in New Zealand I travelled off grid and ended up living off grid in a 1963 carvan for two years nearly, which was awesome. This means i can cope with the cold thats for sure, and the heat. Ive done alot of labouring, most recently been head Gardener of an estate for 6 months which was a great experience, im very hand's on, love a challenge and love to learn.

im very socially aware and respectful of people, their beliefs and their space. i have been back in the UK a year now and ive gone straight back into the old routine and would love to do a workaway again to feel a bit less of the pressures of the "norm" .

I absolutely love nature, I've lived in woods, on beaches love the outdoors. im a very productive person, and annoyingly love mornings, so up for doing the work. I usually work 50 hours a week outdoors so im keen. Im local to the Lake District, hopefully looking to meet like minded people and learn some new things and hopefully be able to offer something in return.
