Hi, I’m Minji Kim, a calm and thoughtful person from South Korea.
You can also call me Kira Yew ( It's my English name which my friends picked up for my new adventure hoping that the name will bring me a bright energy and cherish moment ! isn't it lovely? )

Last year, I went through a difficult time after losing a close family member. It made me reflect deeply on life, and I realized I needed to step away from my job as a nurse to focus on recovery and reconnecting with myself. I’m now on a journey to rest, learn, and grow through new experiences. I’m grateful for the chance to contribute and connect with kind people through Workaway.

I’m currently on a working holiday in Montreal, Canada and learning French!

I’d love to spend time learning about different ways of life, helping out where I can, and contributing with sincerity.

I’m responsible, tidy, and used to caring for others, so I’m comfortable working in calm, organized environments. but I also have experiences working in a busy place such as a cafe and restaurant.

I learn quickly even in areas I have no experience. So, please teach me a lot. I'm very open to any !
I am trying to write down all the journeys in my personal blogs in several ways.

what else.. I have an experience having 2 cats long time ago, and l love animals walking dogs and petting. Even though I haven't had any pet currently, sometimes I visit my friends only to pet their dogs and cats :D

I hope to share good energy and exchange stories with warmhearted hosts.

p.s. I’m only able to drive automatic cars. I am going to bring my international driver license if that would help.

I am quite talented at art work such as drawing, crafting with manuals.

Cleaning, making beverages, cafe etc.

Before working as a nurse, I traveled a lot as a backpacker using Couchsurfing and worked a lot as a part-timer. I also experienced farms wooffing in France, long time ago :)

Was noch ...

I used to do Couchsurfing before (through surfing, hosting, hangouts met bunch of people) but since Covid19 I deleted my account.
Then I found this community, Workaway as a way of exchange cultures and living as locals.
I hope to have cherished memories again with you.
