Hi! My name is Sofia and I've lived in Italy for most of my life. I've also lived in Germany for 2 years and have lived in the United States for the past 7 years.
I've always been fascinated by different cultures and intend on spending my life exploring the world and all of its different people and landscapes. I'm always looking for adventures and experiences that will help me grow and improve myself. I'm very open and love meeting new people, trying new foods, hearing about different perspectives and ways of life.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from the University of Louisville, in Kentucky, and a few years of experience working in the health care field; however, I find that the healthcare system in the United States is flawed in many ways. I want to go back to the roots of medicine and learn about alternative medical practices, natural ways of healing, yoga, meditation, traditional practices and so on. I will eventually go to medical school and want to carry this knowledge with me in my future practices.
I'm big on adventures and nature, I love extreme sports and have dedicated 4 years so far to martial arts including jiu jitsu, muay thai, boxing, and taekwondo. I love deep conversations, I'm open minded and learning something new every day.
I fluently speak Italian, English and German and would love to teach it to anyone who's interested! I also fully understand Spanish and speak it at an intermediate level.
