Beschreibung

Hello! We are a couple just about to set off on our journey to find a new place to live and hopefully start a family together. In the meantime, while we are looking for that place/community, we would like to offer ourselves up in work exchanges. We are really interested in finding a farm, building projects, gardening, community living. But we are open to many different types of project. As long as we can learn and offer you something in return we are happy.

Dave (36) is the innovative problem solver type.  He is very confident working with metal and has been exploring working with wood also.  He is good with machinery, electrics and is generally a handy man to have around. Dave grew up on a hill farm in Perthshire, Scotland so he is handy with animals and vegetables too! He is also very good with bicycles and cars. He is from a family of mechanics and has traded as a panel beater/paint sprayer for 20 years (fixing cars that have had bumps). He is also very interested in physics and the ancient world.

Siobhan (Shiv,34) is your general vagabond type. She has been travelling and working/volunteering abroad since she was 18 with small stints at home in between, but met her love in Scotland 2 years ago and stuck around for him! She has been using this time wisely to get a few qualifications and finally something tangible to offer. She has Holistic massage, Indian head massage and most recently became a certified Doula. Although not very experienced, this is something she would love to offer support with. Shiv is also very practical and loves getting her hands dirty. She enjoys Yoga and although not a trained teacher would be happy to teach what she knows.

We both enjoy cooking, gardening, hiking, cycling, exploring, playing music, attending sound baths and concerts, conversing on lots of topics and learning new things.

We are hoping to meet and learn from some like minded people involved in community living, permaculture, farming, eco friendly projects, building and self growth. As well as having fun exploring our minds, bodies and surroundings.

We look forward to meeting new people, contributing what we can and being inspired by your projects.
