I’m Serena and I’m 25 and live in San Francisco, CA where I am getting my masters as a healer. I and am originally from Los Angeles. I studied sustainable agriculture and food systems at the University of California, Davis where I focused on soil health, sheep care, organic crop production, and indigenous land practices. I have spent 4 consecutive summers WWOOFing at an organic farm in birkerød, denmark and have done stays between several days and months at farms in italy and around california. I am looking forward to expanding my relationship and stewardship to land beyond just cultivating food through exploring land-based practices around restoration, construction, cooking, plant medicine, textile production, and more! I am looking to gain experience in spiritual practice with the land through yoga, meditation, and ceremony and building structures that use the earth’s materials for our needs. I am conversational in spanish but would love the opportunity to exercise it and become more fluent,. I am most excited about volunteering as part of a community of like minded people seeking reciprocity with land and building relationships that strengthen my connection to all life.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have a degree in agriculture and have worked in organic farming for 8 years in production, design, harvest, packaging, marketing, and more. I focus my agricultural work on soil resiliency and work a lot with vermicompost and compost to enrich the soil. I am very strong and can jump into manual labor pretty easily, as my body is quickly adaptable and very resilient. I have some background in construction/fabrication, and I also play instruments, paint, sculpt, and dance a lot!
