Hello! My name is Annabelle and I am 23 from New York. I recently graduated from University, where I studied neuroscience. I have a deep passion and curiosity for learning just about anything and would consider myself an appreciator of nature, beauty, art, and culture.

I find traveling to be the best way to grow as a person and reconnect with ideas that seem to be lost when living within your comfort zone.

Above all, I want to explore and learn about the world along with the beautiful people in it, offering my help or knowledge wherever possible. I enjoy making the most out of life and sharing experiences through laughter and adventure.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

After Hurricane Maria in 2019, I traveled to Puerto Rico to help clean up some of the damage done to people’s houses, forests, and farmland. I was lucky enough to meet and be welcomed into the homes of a few families who needed help with roof and minor interior repairs. I learned to grind, concrete, caulk, prime, and seal. Outside, I helped clear land for agriculture, spread compost, and harvest crops for the local market.

I have served and bartended in restaurants all throughout college, so I have plenty of experience taking care of guests and working in hospitality. My first job was at a country club, where I got to know and form close relationships with the regulars over the course of 5 years. Most recently, I worked at a hotel bar, where I met and talked to different people from all over the world every night.

And finally, ever since graduating a year ago, I have been nannying. I have gotten quite good at cleaning up toys and spilled milk, preparing food, and washing dishes, all while having the energy to chase around and play with two rambunctious little boys. :)

Was noch ...

I love going to concerts, thrifting and up-cycling old clothes that I find, reading, beach volleyball, and hiking. I am a brutal singer but I love to do it. I have recently picked up photography and editing.

Whatever it is that I am doing I try and find the joy in it :)
