Beschreibung

An educator and an engineer by profession, we each chose to follow career paths that prioritize personal growth and family. Having met while working as expats, we shared travel and adventures in various countries. We recently married and our adventure continues as we enjoy freedom and opportunity as we move towards retirement. We value connecting with people and celebrating similarities and differences in culture and place. We enjoy experiencing how people around the world have adapted to their physical and social realities in order to create their best life. While seeing the sights and eating the food in a new country is enjoyable, it was in collaborating and working with those who make that country home that our travels have enriched us as individuals and have left a positive mark on places we have been. We are both physically active and enjoy working and playing in the outdoors.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We are both very hands-on people. We enjoy gardening and yardwork, home renovation, and outdoor sports and activities. Indoors, we cook and bake, Fou does woodworking and Martha does sewing. Fou is also mechanical, repairing vehicles, household items, etc. Martha is an experienced teacher and trainer and speaks four languages.

Was noch ...

We are interested in immersing ourselves in Portuguese life and culture, as we are considering living there part of the year. We would like to live, eat, work, and socialize as the Portuguese do, and to experience the various regions of the country. In return, we are happy to share our experiences of life and habits in Canada, South America, and the Middle East.
