Hi! We are Saar and Odelia, a couple in our early 30s from Israel. We love traveling, discovering new cultures, and meeting people from all around the world. After a few busy years of studying and working and serving the army , we decided to take a long journey together through Canada, Australia, Japan and more — and Workaway feels like the perfect way to experience these places in a meaningful way.
We are positive, easy-going, and not afraid of hard work. We enjoy being outdoors, cooking, diving, hiking, skiing, and sharing good times with others.
💪 Our Skills & Experience
• Hospitality & Cooking: We enjoy preparing meals, working in kitchens, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Outdoor & Manual Work: Comfortable with gardening, painting, cleaning, and general maintenance.
• Languages: We speak English and Hebrew fluently and are happy to practice and teach.
• DIY & Problem-Solving: Saar has a amazing background in carpentry and is handy with tools, organization, and planning.
• Creativity & Organization: Odelia has a good eye for detail, design, and keeping spaces cozy and organized.
• Sports & Activities: We are active — Saar trains for triathlons, and together we want to experience kayaking, fishing, skiing, and exploring nature.
🌍 Why Workaway?
Saar had already few Workaway experiences around the world- Alaska, Canada, Hawaii, Norway and Greenland...and it was probably the best time of his life...
Therefore for us, Workaway is more than just volunteering — it’s a chance to connect with locals, exchange knowledge, and be part of the places we visit. We want to give back, learn new skills, and create great memories along the way.

He can easily jump from carpentry to creative cooking food from what you have in the fridge ( good skills not only for Greenland)
Every time I am walking down stairs home reminds me about him.
I recommend him to any multipurpose job , he is good photographer as well and can tell a lot about stars !

it was really great time for me, we had alot of commun and really good match. Kaleb and Joy are really good peaple with the best energy, they host me in best way and make my time on the big island to unforgotable.
