Hello everyone,
My name is Chris. I am from South Wales and currently living the van life whilst working as a general builder/handyman.
I usually travel south for the winter to avoid the rain but this year I have decided to brave it out in the uk… 😬
My experience mostly revolves around carpentry, roofing, fencing, deckings, shed buildings/gazebos's, some block work, plasterboarding, general garden work /digging/landscaping, concrete mixing, laying patio’s…etc.
I am also just as happy to be involved with non-construction based activities if and when needed.
Most recently I have been working on a full house renovation for two friends in mid wales. This will be coming to an end soon so I am looking around for another project to get involved in.
In my spare time I like to hike, camp, run, swim, play the guitar and generally keep fit.
I love to travel/backpack around and often combine this with volunteering in hostels. Most recently in Portugal and Albania.
I have just begun learning Spanish. Very slowly...
I have spent the last couple of years converting my little Vauxhall Vivaro into a camper. It is fully equipped so accommodation is not an issue if space is tight. As long as there's a spot to park...
