Hello! My name is Rebecka, I am 26 years old and I come from Sweden. I am looking forward to meeting new people and having meaningful experiences through Workaway!

A big interest of mine is hiking and spending time outdoors. Two years ago I spent a year studying at a school where we were taught about life outdoors and it is really something that changed me for the better and made me appreciate nature so much more.

At the moment I am working a seasonal job in the Swedish mountains until the end of april, but when may comes around I am looking forward to having another Workaway experience as the last one I had really made an impression on me and taught me a lot.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

As a person I am hard-working, considerate, communicative and positive. Some of my work-related experiences include:

- Housekeeping and cooking/serving breakfast at a hotel in the Swedish mountains.

- Several years of working as a server in different restaurants. Working in the service industry is something I enjoy very much since it means working closesly with both co-workers and guests.

- Working in a truck factory, which made me a bit more handy :)

- An internship at a mountain lodge in the north of Sweden where I got to take care of guests during guided tours. The position enabled me to meet people from around the world while spending time in nature - a great combination if you ask me.

I have studied psychology, social psychology and geography at university level. I find that all of these subjects have expanded my ability to understand and appreciate the world around me.
