Kia ora! I’m a solo traveler from New Zealand exploring Europe for as long as my funds will stretch. I'm using platforms like Workaway to exchange my time, energy, and skills for accommodation and/or food—ideally through house, pet, or baby-sitting, but I’m open to other opportunities that don’t involve heavy lifting.

I’m easy-going, dependable, and value good energy and meaningful exchanges. With a background in operations, I bring a practical mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a no-fuss approach to getting things done. I have a lumbar condition that limits physical strain, but I’m more than capable when it comes to domestic duties, organizing, pet care, and tech or online tasks.

Availability

I’m currently booked until mid-August, but I’m open to placements both inside and outside the Schengen Zone, with consideration for visa limits. I’m happy in either urban or rural areas—so long as there’s public transport access or a host willing to arrange pickup.

I’ve gained a wide range of experience through house, pet, and babysitting for friends, family, and local families in my community—something I’ve done casually for years as a trusted side gig. I’m reliable, respectful of people’s homes, and genuinely enjoy caring for both animals and children.

Professionally, I come from an operations background, which means I’m highly organized, practical, and efficient. I have a strong sense of common sense and thrive on problem-solving—especially in unfamiliar situations or when things don’t go to plan.

I also have a foundation in IT from earlier training, and while it's a bit outdated, I’m constantly teaching myself new skills, especially when it comes to digital tools and technology. I’m more than comfortable helping with online tasks, admin, or anything tech-related.

I speak fluent English and know basic greetings and manners in Spanish, French, Italian, and Swedish. I also have a full New Zealand driver’s license (automatic only), and I’m confident navigating new places.

While I have a lumbar condition that limits my ability to lift heavy objects, I’m more than capable when it comes to domestic tasks, light cleaning, organizing, pet care, or anything that doesn’t involve too much physical strain.

On a more personal note, my current low-key passion is photography and vlogging. I love capturing moments on the road and sharing stories from my travels—it keeps me creatively inspired and might even come in handy if you’re looking for someone to help document a project, space, or lifestyle.
