Beschreibung

I'm a Brazilian journalist and after many years working in the big city and writing about politics, culture, diversity and human rights, I realized that I needed to take a break and open myself up to new experiences.

I intend to spend one or two years (starting in August 2023) traveling around the world and, during the travels, I would like to get to know new cultures, the habits of the residents and practice as many other languages as possible. And obviously, I would like to help my hosts with my skills and willingness to learn and teach.

I prioritize stays in a private room (it's very important for me).

I'm new in Workaway and there is just one comment about me, but I can provide all information you need to make you feel safe and at ease. If you are interested, we can do a video call.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I love welcoming people and I try to help them with friendliness. I'm willing to do housework, like preparing meals (I really LOVE cooking and I got some compliments) and help organize the house, take care of the garden, kids and animals. I really love the company of dogs and cats and it would be a pleasure to take care of your pet! If you have other animals, such as chickens or horses, I would also like to collaborate with their care – although I have no experience with horses, I am willing to learn everything that you want teach me!

I've worked as a copywriter and social media in advertising agencies, feeding brand profiles on social networks. I can create content for blogs, photograph and post on your company's social networks.

I also know how to sew (include using machines!) and I love to do manual activities, such as crafts and everything that involves plants.

As a professional who studied social communication, I really enjoy talking and listening to stories from people of different origins and opinions (I'm democratic, but I have very clear opinions about politics, science and climate change and I would not be the best company for prejudiced or denialist people).

I can help take care of children (I have experience with babies over two years old) and keep company for elderly people, too! I can be flexible with the schedule of tasks.

I don't know to drive, but I love bikes and hiking! :D
