Hello! My name is Paula and I am 18 years old.
In my free time I love to be active. I play badminton, enjoy running and swimming (even though I am not the best ;)) and love hiking or doing other outdoor activities such as climbing.
In June 2025 I graduated German high school and now I wanna go out and explore the world (or at least a part of it) before coming back to settle into everyday life.
In 2024, I worked in a vegan restaurant for three months before it had to let employees go due to low sales. After that I started working in an organic store which was running better, meaning I still am working there ;).

Besides that I do voluntary work at my badminton club. I teach kids and teenagers how to play and run the social media account with a friend. (in case you're interested Instagram: @vfl_1848_badminton )

I have always felt a strong desire to explore which is why I've also gone on a few solo trips since I was 14. Now that I am done with school I wanna take this opportunity to meet new people, experience different cultures and learn practically instead of theoretically.
I believe Workaway is the perfect way to do that. Not by staying in a hotel and doing regular tourist things but by living with real people and getting to know the everyday life of a place.

I don't really need much to be happy and am very easy-going. I promise :)

I love languages. And I love learning. Especially with other people. Languages being as fluid as they are are something I find really interesting. Different ways to express yourself to say different things even though you use the same words. Amazing, I believe.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am a quick learner and not afraid of new tasks. Completely opposite. I love challenging myself and realizing that many things are possible if you try. I am happy to help with anything that's needed. weather that's garden work, being with children, cleaning, cooking or being creative.I love being with other people of all ages and exchanging opinions and stories with them.

Was noch ...

When talking about my interests I noticed myself struggling with highlighting the most important ones because I feel like everything's in fun and interesting and I wanna try everything!

I also like cooking and sewing, I love biking I also used to look after children that weren't in my badminton club, did an internship in a carpentry shop aswell as in a bank.
