We are a couple aged 37 (Oren), 38 (Nili) with 2 year old Assiya.

We have been workawaying on and off for the past 2 years, beginning in Israel then south Germany, Croatia, and now northern Portugal. At the moment we are in an in-between phase and renting in the town ofArcos de Valdevez, about to decide on our next step. So in the meantime we use our time to meet friends, sing and dance - in home and in the street (as street performers), collecting the wild herbs that one can find in the city, etc.

We left Israel at mid october 2023, and are looking for a decent place to have a fruitful collaboration with, and in the same time to have our time and space as a family. It should be a place where we can stay for at least several months, if all sides are happy about it, and ideally with the potential to join in for permanently.
Also it would be very good to be with other women around, mothers with young kids would also be nice!

Oren is a professional Thai massage therapist and hatha-yoga teacher. He also has more than a decade experience in organic orchardry and vegetable gardens, including a B.Sc in Agroecology and a Permaculture Design Certificate. Also a well-versed in many homesteading and farmsteading skills: Cooking, gardening, a bit of woodworking, weaving...
At the moment he is very interested in building and waiting for the opportunity to get more hand-on experience.
Nili is a devoted mother, a gifted painter with a lot of experience in teaching, and a good cook :) For 7 years she was a waldorf kindergarden teacher, and owned a business for art-related activities.
Young Assiya is very, very special :)

If all goes well and everybody is happy, we could stay maybe even for a longer period. We are not limited by time.
We move about in our own camper so we have some facilities, but forbthe upcoming winter it will be appreciated to have a heated space for sleeping and hanging out. A nice humane environment to interact with is a must.

So - we are looking for a relaxed, healthy and happy collaboration in a place in which people have some good doings, and also know how to relax and enjoy!
We like to hike around, play with people and animals, sing and play music, knit and weave with natural materials, and just to BE.

Apart from that I have academic background in agriculture, permaculture design certificate and more than 12 years experience in organic gardening, vegetable production, orchard maintenance and trees in general.

Nili is a mother, a painter, art teacher, and ex-kindergarden teacher in waldorf education

We both spent the past 6 years maintaining different food forests in our home country
