Hello everyone!

My name is Olga and I am originally from Sofia, Bulgaria. I am 40, although people tell me I look younger :) I have been teaching English to children and adults for over 11 years now and have my own online teaching business. I have an English Speaking Club and online courses for women mainly, who I help master their English to start speeking freely and confidently. I love what I do. I graduated with a Master's degree in the USA, where I lived and worked for more than 5 years. I also worked in the Hospitality industry for many years. I truly enjoy travelling and experiencing new cultures and people.

Currently, I am looking to spend 1 or 2 weeks in Italy in end of August or beginning of September (ideally somewhere close the sea, lake, water). I would love to help my hosts practice their English language, assist with house chores/cooking/shopping/pet and house sitting/light garden work and even doing some creative Arts and crafts projects. I'd love to talk to my hosts in English all the time I am there, so they can get the most of practicing the language with a real English teacher :) I'd appreciate learning some more Italian words, too! I know a few, but understand a lot more.

I am very easy-going, fun to be around and I love socialzing. Hanging out, sightseeing, painting, cooking and any creative projects bring me lots of joy. I'd love to experience those together with my hosts, too. I also enjoy being outdoors and I am always looking for deeper harmony, peace and happiness within myself, others and nature. I am into yoga, pilates, working out, meditation, breathwork, so would love to share my experiences with all these with my hosts, too.

Spending some time sightseeing and experiencing the local life with my hosts would be a joy, but if they don't have time, I am totally self-sufficient to experience things on my own. Having internet and possibly my own bedroom and bathroom would be ideal, but I also flexible about these, too.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

• I have 5 years of teaching English to children and adults. I can offer conversational English practice for small groups/daily seminars, meetups on interesting topics or just help people practice their language skills on a daily basis :)
• I have 4 years of managing a Leadership class for children. Therefore I am passionate about leading small classes/seminars on communication/presentation skills, teamwork, value system to children and adults.
• I am able to help organize different events, help with marketing, social media, logistics and any Art projects around the house (decopage, scrapbooks, painting, drawing, etc.).
• I love interacting with people, so any customer-service jobs I would be delighted to do.
• I love being outdoors and doing art decoration/projects
• Helping with the garden, taking care of animals on the premises would be great also
- I have an extensive experience living and cooking healthily so would love to share that with you and hopefully we can learn from one another 🙂

I love meeting new people and learning about their outlook on life. I love being outdoors, cooking, traveling and experiencing with interesting art projects, teaching English, enjoying nature.

  I prefer to cook my own meals if possible as I try to have a healthy diet. I can also have some meals with my hosts but having an electric stove, kettle and a fridge would do the job if meals are not provided or I can't eat them every time :)

Our experience with Olga was wonderful, I can't add more than what she wrote. The communication between us was optimal and profound, although not without comparisons that have been good for both. We are still in touch and I can say that I have found a friend. I love you dear Olga

Vom Workawayer () für Host (Join us at our home and get ...)

This was my first workaway experience and I couldn't have found a better one! It was an amazing adventure with lots of moments of love, joy, laughter and sometimes challenges. Caterina and Noa are bot very sweet, loving and caring and they would go above and beyond to meet your needs and make you feel at home. I felt very welcomed, I met their … read more family and friends and there was always something going on at the house :) I loved and appreciated our conversations, projects around the house and all the time spent with them. Cate is very creative, fun and deep, and also a great cook, so you would have amazing time together, I am sure. I also learned a lot of Italian from talking to them, and also a lot about living in Italy and the culture in general. Her parents are the cutest! I feel so happy to have been able to spend time with them, too! The pets are also very fun to be around, very active (the dogs, cats are super chill like most cats lol) and they need a bit time to get to know you and feel comfortable around you. I used to take them out several times a day and it was a great way to walk around the neighborhood, learn a lot ot Italian while you talk to other dog owners and just hang out with the dogs. Gin (the older dog) is a free spirit and she loves her independence, and Ugo is cute as a button and very playful. I got used to them quickly and I love and miss them very much! The house is a breath of fresh air, very stylish, a 15-minute bus ride/30 minutes by bike from the main Hisotric district of Palermo, where most attractions are, very spacious and comfortable and close to supermarkets, coffee shops and amazing gelato shops :) We fixed one of the bikes when I was there, so you can use it if you want (just be careful because Italians are very crazy when driving :)). Palermo has a lot to offer, it's very rich in history, architecture (Liberty style), entertainment and a big expat community (expats living in Palermo FB group) that you can spend time with, go on trips and explore the area with. There are plenty of day trips you can do from Palermo and it's really worth it. Overall, my stay was amazing and I am super grateful for host like Caterina and Noa! Cate, I love and miss you very much! You, Noa and your family will always be a part of me and my journey and I can't wait to see you again one day! Thank you for everything! I am so happy I met you all!
