Tätigkeiten, die mich interessieren:

Currently in Germany, travelling to Zimbabwe on March 1st. Looking to travel around Southern Africa for a few months. Want to learn more about music and dance and permaculture :)

Hi!
I'm Alex, 33 year-old illustrator and comics-maker with a passion for punks, bicycles, horses and rap, among other things. I also really enjoy yoga and meditation (I have occasionally given classes). I love manual tasks, generally speaking working with wood, metal, sculpture, pottery, handy little DIY jobs around the house and outside, gardening, painting, work with animals, building, reusing trash in surprising ways etc.
I am a budding musician, working on a second album this year, I rap and sing. Dance, theatre and the performing arts in general interest me.

I've lived in a handful of different countries and done a lot of stuff...I know this is very vague, feel free to ask me things :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have 20+ years of experience riding, training and taking care of horses. I am also comfortable taking care of other animals and have experience feeding, milking, slaughtering and other general farm work.
I was a carpenter’s apprentice for a little while doing traditional carpentry, forestry, renovations, roofing and other odds and ends in construction.
Drawing. I do comics and illustrations as a part-time job. I can paint murals and general decoration stuff. I also feel comfortable making posters or other print media, I have studied graphic design.
Cooking. If my friends and flatmates are any indication I am a decent cook. Also very into vegan cuisine. I'm not vegan myself at the moment but was for a time and love the necessary creativity of it.
Gardening. I know a bit about plants; their various friendships and needs through reading permaculture stuff. This interests me greatly and I am always willing to dig, weed, plant and all the other tasks a garden requires. I get unreasonably excited when shoots spring out of the ground XD.
I am musical, I sing and write poetry to rap. Looking forward to learning to play an instrument to accompany my voice one day.

I think my main skillset is social though. I am compassionate and love talking to many different people. I would love to work in a socially-oriented charity for this next chapter in my life.

Was noch ...

I am always interested to learn new skills and get better at ones I already have. This brings me the most pleasure; trying stuff I've never done before and getting better at it as I go along. Also, meeting people and forging unexpected human connections, listening to life stories, finding common ideologies, opening my mind to new perspectives...these are all things I look forward to.
